Will Butch's staff take him down?

I honestly feel that if Butch doesn't severely upgrade at his coordinator positions, he essentially will allow them to take him down.

Particularly the OC.

Butch has been seen several times laying into his staff on the sidelines. How has he not completely lost his patience with them?

It's looking like it will be them or possibly him later along with them.

I'm also ready for him and his staff to take some responsibility in the post-game presser. Granted, I don't listen to every presser, but I feel like all I hear is how young our team is. I've yet to hear him or the staff own up to anything in a loss.

Butch needs to look in the mirror. How many times has he punted or kicked a long fg on 4th and short?

We just never make plays to actually win a game. Spurrier may lose, but he damn sure will give his team every chance to win the game.

The field goal calls were not bad calls. The execution was. If Medley makes those, it is a much closer ballgame. It is easy to second guess when the players don't execute.

He needs to take a long hard look at all of it. Whatever they are doing, it isn't getting positive results on the field.

Thats exactly it. And that's why Butch does not belong in the big leagues - unlike Spurrier who always plays to win Butch always plays not to lose - and that does not work agains top competition.

Kicking into an 18 mph wind, blowing right to left, from 45 yards out after missing one from 43, is on the coach

Don't forget about those 23 freshmen playing. And our young O-line.

Don't forget about the staff being stubborn.

Imagine if Worley didn't get hurt? How long would it have taken for our staff to realize that maybe having a mobile QB was the best option for success.

It's obvious that our staff can't make changes on their own. They have to have it happen for them when forced.

I really think he needs to make some moves with his staff this offseason

So, this thread is looking a little ridiculous.

Short answer, No assistants won't take Jones down.
What takes most coaches down is lack of quality Jimmy's and Joe's.
