Butch can recruit but outside of that he sucks, kind of like Zook. Just let Butch fill the cupboard for the next guy. After next year we can try again to get a halfway decent coach.

You don't need experienced players to know not to put your worst player on their best, or to not keep trying to kick long fgs in a hurricane. This is why Jancek and WM got ran out of Athens.

Exactly. Should win a couple more with better talent but can't see this staff out coaching anyone.

What concerns me a little is that they seem to want to out talent everyone. That can work for awhile and against weaker schools with inadequate coaching but in this league and in this current time, it's risky.

Phil Fulmer tried it and for a time it worked in a conference with retread coaches but as the competition raised the stakes and improved their coaching staffs, we began to notice the weaknesses more.

Have we demonstrated the ability to get ONE YARD? No! Our run plays hand the ball off to the RBs flat footed and are slow in developing. Our linemen are soft at best.
