Carolina's top tackler, Skai Moore, will miss the game due to ankle injury.

----------
Gamecocks defensive coordinator Lorenzo Ward said Thursday that the sophomore linebacker would miss the game with the Vols (3-5, 0-4 SEC) on Saturday night.

Moore was the team's top tackler a year ago as a freshman and was leading the Gamecocks (4-4, 2-4) with 51 stops this season.

Moore sprained his right ankle in the 42-35 loss last week at No. 4 Auburn.

Ward said Jonathan Walton would step in to start in Moore's place with T.J. Holloman as the backup.

JONES on @3HL1045: The #Stormstroopers are ready to go. All white uniforms for Saturday at SC.

JONES: I believe in everything we are doing here. I love it here, my family loves it here. We are blessed. I am 100% committed to Tennessee.

@Vol_Football
JONES: We have really tried to force feed Worley this week, but he is lacking the velocity to play the position at this level.

Jim Crow would root for UT.

Worley can throw vertically as well as Dobbs. Am I missing where you're going with that?

Worley didn't threaten the quad option that Dobbs does thus got sacked and hurried at a nauseating rate. Different ball game now. In our favor. Nothing you saw this year in a Worley QBd game translates to anything that will happen going forward. The downfield game is now open because the running threat is now a reality.

In other words, our Offense finally has 2 dimensions.

Yea. And the way Butch runs it its actually more than that. Every play has 4 options and the ones with pass progressions have more than that. Maybe not really but from a defensive standpoint like 6-7 options per play. After watching Dobbs run it last week I'm full on board. It's gona work. It's a great offensive scheme in college. Patience my brothers.

Saw this on twitter, OBC doesn't think we can throw downfield? Planning for Dobbs but doesn't know he can throw it?

Not sure how accurate either team will be Saturday. Weather forecast is for a chance of rain, cold cold cold and gusting winds up to 25 mph.

According to weather channel, the rain is expected more during the day and winds will be between 10-15mph at night.

They're going to load the box? What a difference a running QB makes. When Dobbs is trying out for the NFL in a couple of years he should put this quote next to these stats on his resume.

Their defense is bad. I think they realize Hurd and Dobbs have proven they can run when they have lanes, but we haven't proven we can pass downfield consistently against anyone, not even the scrubs. We've had our good moments passing sometimes, but there's no doubt Hurd can run successfully against a bad defense.
