3. Really? It seemed to me and many others that if Worley had finished last year, they would have gone bowling. Dobbs did well all things considered, but I didn't get the impression he killed it last year.
6. Actually, his inconsistent passing could easily make him seem a worse option from practice. He missed a wide open slant to North. Another pass to North had him diving to make a two-yard gain. Another ball to North was overthrown and into double coverage. He lost another fumble on a run; he did that last year, too. I'm not dogging Dobbs; he played very well overall. I'm just saying it's not a stretch to believe he was outperformed from a throwing standpoint in practice. Plus, his parents wanted Dobbs to redshirt. If Dobbs wasn't head and shoulders above the other guys in practice, there's no reason not to try to keep the redshirt in my opinion.
7. Yes, please.
8. Bama moves Cooper all over the place. It was reported that trying to chase Cooper with Sutton pre-play would have really messed with the rest of their coverages, and I could see Sutton getting behind trying to run around the defense's formation. I'm not excusing it because clearly they didn't have a good plan to start the game. Also, the substitution thing from the refs didn't help.
One more thing, it was Sutton trailing Cooper on his second touchdown. Did Sutton slip or something? He was way behind. Anybody?
