Clearly he's more developed than last year. That's intuitively obvious to even the most casual observer.
I don't think any of the pro Dobbs guys think Worley is bad. Put Worley on GA and he is a really good QB. With our constraints on the O Line, Dobbs brings an added element that simply makes our offense better. Play to strengths that help weaknesses.
Completely agree. I don't agree with the arguement that media members are making that Bama was not prepared for Dobbs. They are incorrectI think he looks more poised obviously. There are some accuracy issues there, but he has mobility and arm strength.
South Carolina will put the spy on Dobbs and force him in the pocket. The south carolina game will tell a lot about Dobbs and how much he has improved.
I don't agree with that. Last year behind a great pass blocking OL, he still held onto the ball wayyyy too much, still had 0 awareness of what was going on around him, & still couldn't throw guys open.
I'll apaud his toughness all day & his willingness to fight, he's just not an SEC caliber QB.
Hearing on the radio online saying that Dobbs only looked good because Bama wasn't prepared for him. And it's possible that Dobbs will revert to how he looked against Missou and Vandy last year.
I am a Justin Worley Fan. He is one tough kid.. IF he is healthy, I don't mind him being out there against SC.
As far as Bama not being ready for Dobbs-- if they paid attention at all, they would have thought it a possibility and prepared for it. (I even saw twitter posts by Bama fans being a bit frightened by the fact that Dobbs might play instead of Worley) Also, I can't believe that a team like Bama couldn't adjust to a running quarterback.
