Hell yes. This kid has been waiting for 3 seasons to get in here. He's not going to waste the opportunity when he gets in.

He's a monster.

He may not play a huge amount of snaps his first year on campus (maybe just 3rd and longs), but QBs will know when Gerald is in the game.

He has really, really, really good speed.

He should be able to come right in and help generate a pass rush.

From the recent articles I have seen, Gerald is still talking like the coaches are going to play him at MLB. What do you think justin?

If he has the quickness (sideline to sideline) to play MLB, let him have at it. I would like to see it, but it seems like a position with a lot of talent already.

I know when Tennessee first recruited him, the plan was to bulk him up and play him at DE. But that was 3 years ago. I haven't read much about him in the past couple of months, just a little here and there.

I haven't seen him this year

Saw him at the O&W game last spring no dreads. Man he's bigger than I thought. If he has the quickness to play up and in the middle the coaches would be foolish not to play him there. He would get immediate attention and respect from everyone we play!!!

Remember Bernard Jackson? Guaranteed, G-Dub will play defensive end...and play a lot if he gets in. I remember his playing days at Boyd Anderson....with him and Ben Martin on the ends, it's going to be fun to watch.

He's not playing LB at UT. I heard someone tell me while he was briefly here in '05 he was a legit 6'4".

Im sure he's every bit of 6'4" but if hes got the size, and obviously he does, and the speed for LB, why wouldnt he get a shot at it?

Its the coaches job to not only win games but also play players at the postions that are going to get them in the NFL. Just look at the number of linebackers on NFL rosters that are 6'3" and taller. Its few and far between. Plus, if he's a fast LB, that would make him an extreamly fast DE.

What do you think the plan for Chris Donald is, DE, or LB, where is he going to see playing time at?
