'15 TN OT Drew Richmond (Former Ole Miss commit)

I think he is ole miss except in the back of his mind he has two things going on. One is they already have a player at that position and Hughy Woodchuck wants to move that big QB to LT as well I believe. Then the other thing is that Coach Hughy Woodchuck might get a job somewhere else and leave oxford. So I think he is keeping the options open to get to Knoxville if Woodchuck pulls a Jimmy Frank at the end of the season.

They did mention during the game that the TE/Hback/Wildcat guy that weighs 296 pounds has NFL potential as an OT.

Ole Miss is Freeze's dream job. Only a good NFL job would even have a chance to lure him away, and I still think he'd be more inclined to stay in Oxford. There's no chance he leaves them for another college job.

With such a glaring need at the tackle position why are we having such a hard time attracting them?

I think I know the answer but damn I hope it's not the case.

We have like 3 tackles committed. 4 if you count Dylan Jackson.

And we are heavily in the mix for Pat Allen and Burrell.

Ole Miss is Hugh's dream job but he isn't what he puts on in front of everyone he's fake and when the money comes he'll leave. But this thread isn't for that. The Ole Miss camp is quite on Drew didn't get much of their side they don't seem to be worried. Still hearing good things from the Tennessee camp

Do you really see 4 of Jones, Stewart, Boulware, Hall, and Jackson being able to provide depth at OT next year?

I don't understand how our staff hasn't been able to sell a top talent OT on the opportunity our OL presents yet. They've done a really good job of selling opportunity to kids at almost every other position. It's kind of flabbergasting.

Did anyone see where he told someone on Twitter or Instagram to wait until Feb 5th? The person talking to him was telling him to stop trolling and go ahead and become a Vol and he said wait till Feb 5th. I can't find the conversation now.

I did see it as well. This one will go right down to the wire.

We will see. This belief has not been put to the test yet.

No way Hugh Freeze leaves for the NFL or is probably even offered an NFL job. He's the quintessential college coach, from scheme philosophy to motivation techniques. Plenty of NFL players are spiritually motivated, but they play the game at a different level and for a different reason. His shtick, which works pretty well in college, would be laughed out the door of an NFL locker room.

As I stated 30 pages back, in the end Richmond will be a Vol; Butch Jones is just too good. Have a little faith guys in Jones recruiting. He has done nothing but exceed our expectations in that area at least.

This is true but he hasn't flipped anyone yet has he? There are also some factors working against him here that he hasn't always had to contend with (mom's wishes, proximity, Ole Miss having their best team in 45 years). He is not a miracle worker.

Chatter that Freeze is top guy on Foley's list with Rich Rod and James Franklin following.
I know OM is undefeated but really don't get all the love for CHF. Maybe its just me.
