Don't know. I'm just not sure I have a good feeling about this. Almost has a Torrance Gibson feel to it, where the kid is here for several days....but nothing really results of it.

I mean, he very well may flip to UT. But, I am just not sure. Would be huge no doubt, we definitely need him. Would be great to get Ugo, Phillips, Perry and Richmond to shut down the state. But, I'm not optimistic about it until it happens. We'll see.

It isn't obvious that TG didn't work out because TG didn't want to commit. We know, however, that any positive feelings held by Richmond will be completely mutual.

The kid and family have a short drive to see each other and ole miss is top 10. Then they make the long drive, the first 3 hours being pretty sucky, and get to Knoxville and are tired and see a program trying to rebuild.
I have to be honest and say if I'm in Memphis, which is where I am from, I 100% understand their position. This would be the toughest recruit to flip in Butch's career.

It's easy to go to Ole Miss, when it's an hour away. I don't fault Richmond at all. He comes from a good family, and he has to make the best decision for himself. If he wants to be closer to home and closer to his family, Ole Miss is an excellent choice. If he wants the chance for early playing time, Tennessee is an excellent choice. It all depends what's more important to him.

Hoping this kid flips, but like earlier poster said can't blame him for wanting to be closer to home. Early enrollees on the OL will be critical for their development. Any of these guys going to graduate in December?

I was one Volnationer who never really thought we would get Drew Richmond, that one time we heard that his dad and CBJ hit it off quite well kind of made me feel good: but i literally just got this feeling that he ends up in Orange. I wasn't even thinking about him or OTs, it was our RB depth and who else could be playing LB. And this just came to me out of left field, And I'm going to believe it!! Lol

I think the only thing that may help Butch pull this out is Richmond's relationships with some of the current commits.

There is nothing poorly worded here. You more than likely have a reading comprehension problem. Just a little humor Alice. :good!:

Him being upset about your post is probably unfounded, but considering Jerusalem is a sacred site to Muslims, I'm not sure your analogy makes much sense. Also using any religion for analogies will usually not be well met.

Wrong...Al-Quds, yes. I know this, I was just making a joke. This could be sliced and diced all day long. Please disregard the post.

Only good thing about the atrocious OL play today is CBJ can tell Richmond "Son I know Ole Miss wants you, but as you can plainly see...WE desperately NEED you...Right now!"
