I really don't know which side is worse, the ones calling for the coaches to be fired, or the opposite the ones calling for every one to shut up. Theres name calling on both sides.

Any sane person would have to see the hard work CBJ has done with the Vols, but how good our OC is is still up in the air, Anyone who thinks that some conservative play calling, late in the ball game,would not have won the game saturday does not know Football, and should just be quiet, I don't give a dam how big there Balls are.

My vote would go to the ones calling for the coaches to be fired, because that can actually happen.

Well, its because a lot of people want football to be an escape from reality.

And when people don't want that reality to be depressing, they want people to be quiet and pretend everything is ok

I agree, but you know what, what is wrong with that? They believe in something that makes them happy or mad. At least their not out doing something really bad like, destroying our constitutional rights of free speech. yea, some get a little expletive about their displeasure of the out come of a game, but you know what, that same passion built this UT Football Program. Try coming out here in Colorado and witness a virtual disinterest in football between Dec and August. The SEC is special because of the fan base and the 24/7/365 coverage of Southern Fried Football. We need everyone to make this best fan base in America, but I just don't appreciate a Blog Moderator to come in here and do exactly what I feel she was trying to criticize. What the difference in her calling someone a whussie and a blogger calling a team or player whatever it is they called them? If you want to be in a world where there is one right opinion or thinking....its about 6K miles west or east of the USA.

I was defending what a guy said earlier there is 2 sides to this I don't get bent out of shape over football and don't cry over the games but I just think it's funny if it wasn't a moderator that made this thread they would be getting roasted right now but everybody wants to suck up to the mods.. I love the Vols and I read threads when I can get time I just think some things are funny

That is the first opinion that I have read that says conservative play calling would have won the game. Could just be my perception though. Seems most opinions I have read indicate we should have been throwing down the seams, which of course, was exactly what Muschamp wanted when he had pressure on with a 3 man front.

If by me complaining about bad play calling and losing again to Florida is crying, then so be it

I've talked to every vol fan I know outside of this forum and they are just as concerned.

Yes, we should have called some deep routes instead of being conservative so Worley could have got crushed again while the play was developing for 6 seconds!

Dude, do you have any idea what the word conservative means? we had the ball after the late turnover on about the 16 yd line or so, and Worley throws to the Endzone to a receiver who is covered, while backing up under pressure, off his back foot. A
coach has to know the situation, how inept his offence has been, and tell his QB, look 3 short pases, or runs and if we don't get the first down, we kick the FLD goal, tho only part of our offence working that day.

Losing sucks. But you know what sucks more? A candy ass fan base.
