Mike Bajakian discussion (mega-merged)

You guys are fools. What are you supposed to do with 3 3rd down false starts and no pass protection?

The playcalling was fine. We mixed it up. We threw short a lot. We threw deep. We ran OK. We just couldn't pass block.

LMAO.

Maybe if Worley had of actually kept one QB read in our 3 trips and ran the damn ball he would have scored a TD.

How can you have a read offense and the QB doesn't run one ****ing time?

That's not on the OC

I mentioned this before, but:

"Butch Jones: King of the Moral Victory"

At some point, it doesn't matter how well he recruits, CBJ needs to realize that his loyalty to Bajakian may ultimately prove costly to his own security.

Lulz, Neo. What happened? Is Chewbacca going to defend the offensive play calling this week in your thread?

A lot of you guys act like *****es on here and need your balls to drop.

Before the game we get post like....

GA would kill OU...we are about to get blown out.

Spread is 19...we'll be lucky to beat it.

I hope we don't get blown out by 40.

and so and so.

Then we come out, with a group of Freshman, and a brand new line, and battle a GA that is NOT missing half their players like last year, and we take it down to the wire.

What the hell do you people want?

Yes, we are young...but for those about to say I am so sick of the young excuse...please check out our current recruiting....CBJ is fixing that.

Every f'n ESPN announcer gives us high praise after every game and says we are on the right path. They keep saying we are playing much better.

But noooo....because we didn't win the game those of you who stated we would lose by 30 are still *****ing.

I'm serious.

We need to start one.

Butch needs to know how we feel.

My heart hurts. Literally hurts.

I am tired of feeling this way. 14 points would have won this game.

Who knows how to start one of those online petitions?

This has to end.

It's time for the OC to go.

WHAT are you talking about!

........

12 points would have won

He needed to go after last season. He can't read a D so I have no idea why he has the O run to the line just to stop and look when he's just gonna change it to the play that the D is setup perfectly to stop. He also puts way too much into upperclass players because there was no reason Lane/Young should've been on that field when it was clear Hurd was the only one that could actually run on this D. I get that you have to give him breathers but not the entire 3rd qrt.

Finally he clearly can't spot a Ds weakness, let alone exploit it. He's too stuck up his own rear-end on running a balanced attack to see that we could've thrown all over Uga last week and this week all we needed was screens and quick slants to ease pressure on the oline. But he insisted on playing game manager last week whenever we were within a score and this week everytime we had a play or 2 that might make the D think twice about blitzing he would run it the next 2-3 plays keeping the Dline coming hard.

Fire the defense coordinator.

There's no reason a team should have difficulty stopping a true freshman playing with that little game experience (in October) in front of a crowd that size.

So let me get this right the defense only gives up 10 points to a SEC rival that oh by the way scored 21 against Bama and you want to fire the D cordinator.

Well 50% of run plays and 90% of downfield throws can't be called because the O Line cant block a soul. Play calling choices are slim to none when you have your QB on his back or pressured every play. Our OT's have no business being out there.

Fire the OC, get an O line coach that is worth a crap, find someone who can put together a game plan and make adjustments. Apart from this, I don't see Tennessee ever being back where they belong.

I'm glad we got Butch and his philosophy rather than Gruden and that garbage west coast BS.

This is Jones' offense. If you don't like what you are getting then your problem is with him... not the guy who does what he tells him to do.

1.0 yard per rush attempt. Pathetic. Whose fault is that? Hurd? Lane? The offensive line?

Or the man paid half-a-million dollars a year that put them in this situation?

You adapt play calling to your talent & personnel not the other way around. This Florida D has been torched all year & we waste plays on zone reads & swing passes.

That hasn't happened since Cutcliffe installed the chuck and duck offense in 2006.

And it isn't gonna happen with the best staff in America.

Butch fires Bajakian and he is basically admitting the offense he has made a career on doesn't work.

I'm sick and tired of bubble screens and trying to run out of a shotgun lone running back with no blocking.

Worley was awful today but he's the best we have. But, Bajakian is just as bad or worse.

There are several reasons why this offense is inept. But it still doesn't cover up the stink of Bajakian's play calling. Fire him, demote him, or whatever but Butch needs to make a move of some sort before people begin to turn against him.

I've been saying this since the start of last year...what other team that you know runs a read option offense with a pocket passer qb? None that I can think of.. This offense will never take off he doesn't change the scheme or recruit a dual threat..

It didn't work against Dooley in Neyland

That should have been a big clue
