'15 TN OT Drew Richmond (Former Ole Miss commit)

Heard rumors last night about NCAA investigations into ole miss. Could change things. Like one poster said earlier, in college recruiting, anything can happen.

I sleep fine regardless. But I trust the word of those whose job it is to closely follow recruiting over your personal opinion with nothing other than maybe twitter to base your take on.

I have tried to click Ignore Thread so many times but this thread is pure comedy. It may surpass the Gibson thread for laughs by signing day.

I think the point is that some recruits are more solid than others. It's not as likely that KM Would flip as DR... but, both or either could happen.

He can go to ole miss. I am from Memphis. I only want Memphis players that truly want to be Vols. I am still confused by Carr...
If you want to go to ole miss instead of Tennessee, you deserve ole miss. ole miss and university of memphis were for those memphis kids who wanted to stay in high school. :)

Just my opinion, but this coaching staff may be focusing more on defense right now. They will find, recruit and sign a highly talented OT, just may not be top priority right now.

I'm considering buying the house next door to the Richmonds. I'm going to paint it orange and white and try to develop a relationship with Drew and family in an attempt to sway Drew to pick UT.

Would that be a bit much?

Maybe I'll just tweet at him instead.

Maybe Richmond changes his mind when Ole Miss gets exposed for being tremendously overrated.

I still don't see how they are ranked #10 simply because of being 4-0. Who the hell have they played? Boise St: 3-2, lost to Air Force. Vanderbilt: 1-4. Louisiana-Lafayette: 1-3. Memphis: 2-2, but the game was 7-3 in the 4th quarter.

We will see what happens when they start playing real teams.

This is why preseason rankings are absurd imo. They should wait until the first week of October to release the rankings.

I could easily see them losing 4 or 5 games in that stretch.

All due respect doc, he was definitely a high priority & the number one OL target for us. We just simply missed. I'm not holding my breath on him flipping but anything can happen.

Jason loves the vols but he and jones didn't see eye to eye after a one on one meeting. Would still be here if it wasn't for that little conversation they had.

That looks like 6-6 to me. We'll see how committed he is to them at the end of the season.

Richmond will be back at Ole Miss this weekend, the school he is committed to, but his recruitment is not completely over either.

Alabama, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, and Tennessee among others are still being considered for official visits by Richmond.

When asked about the strength of his commitment, Richmond said, "For anybody, nothing is official until February 5, so take that how you want to." Stay tuned.

I'm baffled how people are picking them over Bama. The three ole miss games I've watched, they looked just awful.

This baffles me as well. I mean anything can happen in football but I've watched ole miss multiple times and came away saying they really aren't that good. I guess the experts are too busy running their mouths on TV to watch the actual games.

I just feel like his heart is with the Vols but that Ole Miss is the convenient pick with being close to home, but I am just a volnation poster. Hoping this guy is a vol still.
