No I didn't expect to go undefeated. I realize we are expected to win just 5 or 6 games but for once I'd like to see us beat expectations and overachieve. We haven't done that in forever.

I love what CBJ is doing. Some people might think it's cheezy, but this team is playing with heart. The pre-game rituals. Locking arms while coming on the field. Sprinting at the end of quarters. I'm loving it all. Not bashing our previous 2 coaches, but Jones is really creating something special at UT. No doubt this team is young and has a brutal schedule, but this team isn't going to roll over and just accept a loss. Things are going to be tough, but I'm confident that these underclassmen have bought into CBJ's system. It might not be this season (which would suck), but CBJ is going to get UT back in the top 25...on a consistent basis.

Speaking for myself,,, I enjoyed today's game. There were many positives from what I saw. There were also several things that need a lot of work. Looking at everything realistically, like lots of freshman still in the learning curve. We have a long way to go before we can be to the point that we are feared against any opponent. There is a difference in this team compared to last year. This team is coming together and will continue to improve every game we play.

Didn't we have an even more lackluster performance last year against South Alabama (a team that is probably not as good as Arkansas State) and yet manage to come within inches of beating 2 top ten (10) teams in the two weeks that followed. While I would have certainly liked to have seen a better performance today, I think it is a little premature to say we have no shot against any good teams especially when a less talented team beat a top ten (10) South Carolina team last season.

Freak, there are posters who claim to be vol fans that only post whenever we lose a game or something bad happens to Tennessee. They are nowhere to be found if we are winning and doing good things.

You've lost your ever loving mind if you think this team beats Florida this year. Not gonna happen. Their D-line will dominate our OL so bad that that alone will cause us to get killed.

On the positive side OK is prone to being upset over the last few years! But the thing about sec teams are we're never overlooked. Even Vandy when they sucked. And Stoops will be fired up. And I say no way uf rolls into Neyland without 200% focus. They had a worse record than we did.

Do you guys really think Tennessee has a chance in Norman? If you ever have a shot to go to Norman for a game, take advantage of it, win or loss.
