Ehh, while I agree that if I ever played soccer and was good at it I would most likely have a different opinion, I disagree that the reason I don't like it is because I wasn't coordinated enough to play it. From the little I've dabbled in soccer, I don't think more coordination is required than hitting a baseball, golf ball, or even dribbling a basketball. I could be wrong as I never played soccer at a high level like I did baseball and basketball, but I don't just honestly don't think that's the reason I don't enjoy watching soccer.
But soccer is definitely not a sissy sport. I've seen some crazy terrible injuries in my time, and sustained some pretty good ones as well (headbutt to the face...I wear glasses. The blood was plentiful.) Plus, the average soccer player runs 7-9 miles a game. Typically, 90 minutes of non-stop running. It's intense.
To me, this is Still the scariest movie I've ever seen
At the risk of sounding like a complete pansy i slept with the lights on for a few nights after watching it in theaters the first time. And even now when my wife isn't home, I sleep with a little light on - like a bathroom light or something.
Can't quite agree with the comparison. In soccer you can steal some breaks when the ball has switched play from your area of the field. In hockey you go 100% or get off. When you play hockey with no line changes, the play suffers pretty dramatically.
Yeah there's definitely some merit to this but the cardio required to play soccer at a high level is pretty insane. More so than hockey but hockey is way more physical.
Freddie Mercury wipes the floor with Steve Perry imo. Dat vocal range bruh.
Seriously, though Queen at Live Aid is widely considered the great live rock performance of all time. Mercury sounded like a god performing live.
