Has it been established which side is responsible for killing civilians there today?

In the last couple minutes of this interview the ambassador gets into why the US isn't doing more to help the Ukrainian military. He says there is no military solution (Ukraine can't win) as long as Russia keeps sending stuff over the border.

Yeah, so how about helping them fortify the border?

Russia’s Foreign Minister said on July 19 that it would retaliate against newly imposed U.S. sanctions on Russian firms and citizens by imposing visa restrictions on a similar number of U.S. citizens.

The list of U.S. citizens that Moscow is barring from entering Russia includes the chief wardens of the Abu Ghraib and Guantanamo Bay detention centers in Iraq and Cuba.

I call like I see it, there's plenty of others on this forum who'll agree.His hi jinks are a daily reminder of how far we've fallen on the world stage. He's deserves to be ridiculed, chastised, excoriated on a daily ****ing basis. I've ****ing had it with this idiot.

Not that they have much else in common, but it reminds me of Grant. He was largely drifting through life, not good at business, and then the Civil War rolled around and things clicked for him, eventually leading to the White House.

British Prime Minister David Cameron said on Saturday that if it were proven that Ukrainian separatists were behind the downing of a Malaysian jet carrying 298 passengers, Russia would be to blame for having destabilized the country.

"If this is the case then we must be clear what it means: this is a direct result of Russia destabilizing a sovereign state, violating its territorial integrity, backing thuggish militias and training and arming them," he wrote in The Sunday Times newspaper.

UK has hardly been a leader on this. Lots of Russian money invested in London.

Germany had stepped up the rhetoric even before MH17. Of course tough talk and doing something are two separate matters.

That's what they call irony.

Honestly, we do this a lot with Americans (not necessarily about this issue), and they're absolute imbeciles. Kimmel has made a show out of this, hasn't he?

What would startle me the most is to watch a clip wherein every man or woman on the street seems well-informed. That would be truly upsetting.
