Easier schedule than last year, East all has new QBs. We were 1 yard from beating Vandy and making a bowl last year, so we won't have made progress if we don't make a bowl this year.
That's where I am with it. Pig holds onto the ball against UGA. Pig doesn't make an illegal block on a TD run by Dobbs against Vandy. Worley staying healthy the whole season. On and on. With the turnover and huge question marks in the east if they do not make a bowl Butch needs to make some coaching changes.

I would like to think so. I just don't get my hopes up when competing with Bama for Memphis kids. I have a feeling Bama wins here. Bama pays well especially in Memphis.
So what are our options going forward at LT should we fail to land this cat? It seems as if J Jones will project to guard as will Jashon Robertson, Mosely, Zach Stewart, and Ray Raulerson. I like Thomas at RT at least. What about Austin Sanders and Brett Kendrick? Also guards I presume?
I hope like hell you're wrong, but it wouldn't surprise me if you're right. This guy is a must get, number one in terms of importance imo.
Unless our defense gives up 30+ a game or our offense looks completely inept, I would prefer to not make any coaching changes. The best thing for our program right now is some stability. It would actually be a breath of fresh air to have the same staff together for at least 3 years. We have gotten too used to coaching changes made on a yearly basis.
-VolQuest.comDrew Richmond, OT, 6-5/323, Memphis, Tenn.
Richmond is the number one ranked player in the state of Tennessee. The Vols have needs at offensive tackle which is why the Memphis native has been a priority for Butch Jones since Jones arrived on campus.
The problem is that Richmond is a priority for a lot of schools which is why the Vols have a recruiting battle on their hands with Ole Miss, Alabama, Ohio State and UCLA where he just visited. Some say that the four year move to Los Angeles is unlikely, but Richmond had good things to say about the visit. Richmond is scheduled to visit Ohio State for their Friday Night Lights camp in July and he has a tentative date of September 9th set for his announcement. However that could definitely change.
Tennessee is trying to get Richmond on campus later this month for their second orange carpet day.
Top247 offensive tackle Drew Richmond of Memphis, Tenn., posted a SPARQ score of 83.85 behind a 40.5-foot power-ball toss. He also ran the 40 in 5.44 seconds, had a 22.4-inch vertical and completed the shuttle in 4.97 seconds.
