AK might end up being our most influential recruit this cycle. I'm not saying that others aren't recruiting a lot, like Butcher, PW, Jack, etc. I'm saying that for the guys we are battling it out with Bama for, then I think Butch will put AK on them, and they will listen to a peer very closely about his experiences there. Could pay huge dividends. I'm expecting that AK has already been in DJ's ear, too.

We would look at a guy like Alex Givens I think, or Tyree St. Louis. Another option is move Thomas over to the left when Blair leaves, and then go Jack Jones on that side or go juco on the right.

He's supposed to commit on September 9th. There's been some talk of pushing that date back, but if he commits then, he won't know if we are bowl bound or not before he commits.

So we make/miss a potential game winning field goal in the final seconds of a game and it determines whether or not he signs with UT? I would think the kid is just looking for overall progress.

Overall progress would be making a bowl. If we're to the point that a missed FG determines our going to a bowl, we haven't progressed.
