Donnieball Taking Shape!

Does that even make sense? Maybe to some! Why are you here? You like trolls or are you one?

I explained this to you before. The view count only refers to the number of times someone has viewed ANY post on a thread, not just yours.

So let's say maybe that someone is trying to view BTO's post on a thread where you have also posted. The view count goes up for both your posts, even if the reader has you on Ignore and never sees what you wrote.

If you --excuse me, if someone posts on every single thread on the forum, then yes, their view count keeps going up, even if someone just reads the latest post, 10 pages after yours, and misses yours entirely.

And if someone is successfully trolling, as I've already posted that I believe you are, then by definition a lot of agitated posting happens, so click click click goes the view counter.

Actually, now that I think about it, you have probably tripled BTO's view count.

Summary for those who missed it? TIA

Was a great interview - CDT is refreshing. CDT and Basilio going to sit together a RAW wrestling event on Monday night.

CDT said Punter will run point then Mo.....

He also noted that while Tennessee has the length and athleticism that he wants they do not have the size or "girth" in the post that he would like. And added that summer work-outs would be beneficial to put weight on interior players - talked up his strength and conditioning coach.

And cracked on Tony's guest Maury...

Are you telling me that Donnie Tyndall is attending Monday Night RAW in Knoxville next week?

I knew he had a plan regarding point guard. Sounds like he will be able to address the Rebounding also.

That's what he said when TB asked him if he was going and CDT said yes and that they should sit together.

"Next level brudder"

Like I said yesterday, every coach in America has a plan, Tony Barbee had a plan at Auburn, Anthony Grant at Bama etc. If your team doesn't succeed it comes down to 1. Was the plan the right plan or 2. Did you not execute the plan.

In other words, if Tennessee struggles next year and PG play is an issue and/or getting hurt on the boards is an issue, we'll have to ask was his plan the right plan and just wasn't executed properly, or was it the wrong plan.

Coaches know how to talk, at least most of them, you can talk up Chiles and a Mostella and make them sound like Rajon Rondo and Tony Parker, but when the lights come on and Kentucky comes into TBA, what happens?

That will be the question.

If there were supposedly no true pgs this late, what other plan options did he have other than by committee.

There were multiple true PG options available, in fact one of the best in the country just chose Vanderbilt over Missouri. Tyndall could not convince the kid to even take a visit to Tennessee, with a wide open spot at PG for him to step right into.

It's why I've said I do have some reservations about his recruiting still, while many seem to be already comparing what he did to what Butch did, and I don't see that.

Shelton Micthell was a top 100 PG that came available via a coaching change after Tyndall got the job, who we couldn't even get to give us a look, but the D2 coach at Missouri got to OV and ultimately ends up at Vanderbilt. Robert Carter the former 5* who reports came out that Tyndall was going full press for hasn't mentioned Tennessee 1 time, but is considering SEC powerhouse South Carolina.

There were more options than just Mitchell at PG, but you get my point.

How the hell can you have reservations about his recruiting after what he just did in one month on the job? Come on bTo, that is just silly talk. I'm not a recruiting guru, but I'd venture to guess that Mitchell had prior relationships with the Vandy and Mizzou staffs which is why he gave them a serious look.

Edit - I would like to know in the history of the Rivals/Scout recruiting era has another coach pulled in 8 commits in that amount of time? At a new school none the less.

Outside of Mostella who's the best recruit he pulled and who did we beat out for their services?

Tyndall pulled in 7 or 8 at both Morehead state and USM, so yes, it has been done.

Right, the same guy. Pretty remarkable IMO. Now, if we can't pull in a PG next year, I'll circle back around with you. However, for now, I'm thrilled with what he's done.
