So it seems Pops will not be returning either

So if Pops is indeed gone, does that just leave 4 scholly players from last year? Hubbs, Richardson, Moore, and Reese? Am I forgetting anyone?

Yemi ran Yemi off if memory serves me well. Most of the comments about Pops are very:
cal·lous
ˈkaləs/
adjective
adjective: callous
1.
showing or having an insensitive and cruel disregard for others.
"his callous comments about the murder made me shiver"
synonyms:heartless, unfeeling, uncaring, cold, cold-hearted, hard, as hard as nails, hard-hearted, insensitive, lacking compassion, hard-bitten, hard-nosed, hard-edged, unsympathetic

Non of you would appreciate your Son receiving some of these comments.

I think Reese will fit in well, and I honestly mean that. My concern for him would be he's at a position that's really crowded now, and about to get even more crowded. If he could prove that he can handle his own at the 5 he could find himself a nice role on this team and get 15-20 minutes a game.

I believe if Reese does play the 5, he would be difficult for a traditional center to guard because he can shoot the 3 well.

Reese needs to get the ball off his forehead and either adjust his body where his feet aren't square (maybe drop his left foot back a al Dell Curry) or fire the ball off his temple. His release is too inconsistent with trajectory and aim and it's partyly due to him being now stronger than hs and he hasn't adjusted his form. Rt elbow seems to be almost farther out than his left and he can't decide whether to shoot a jump shot or set shot, and he's not sure if the ball is going to spin to the left, right or backspin. I don't mind a right elbow flare but you better be making them over the years to shoot it well if it's way out there.

Terry the team will be better with these players and the 4-5 returning players than it would have been had CCM stayed. CCM left in part because once Stokes declared for the draft he knew he hadn't recruited a good enough team to get into the tourney next year. This team under Tyndall will at least have a shot to compete for a tourney bid.

I didn't realize Pops only had a year of eligibility left. What are his options if he transfers? Can he sit for a year with a scholarship and then play a year somewhere else?

If forcing him out means he loses his scholarship and doesn't have a way to get a new one, then we need to honor the commitment we made to the kid. I would be really disappointed in CDT if he hung someone out to dry like that.

Reese could see some time at power forward and I would not mind seeing 3 guards, a power forward and a center as well as 4 guards and a big depending on match ups this season.

Why do you think that? Not being a SmA, just wondering what you see.
