HBO's "Game of Thrones"

My wife is very ill. As you know I'm a religious fellow. I was doing a bible study on acts ch 10. There is a reference to a centurion in there. There are other sources that refer to him by the name Maxamus. The name Maxamus means leader, great one, 1st in line, or foundation stone depending on its use. I really like Red so it is my intention to be Maxamus for her. I changed my name to MaxamusXIII on all the boards I post on as a reminder to myself......

And Gladiator was a badass movie.

Best wishes and prayers for Red

Slice, I'm very sorry to hear about Red. My family's thoughts are with you and yours.

Wondering who's responsible for apprehending Shay and turning her...

They showed The Mountain in the previews for the next episode... Will the crown select him as the champion? If so, how would Obyern react to that? He's really the only unbiased person in the courtroom.

What's Jamie going to do?

Something's up with Shea. I ain't buyin it. She's to smart and she's not the type who would be intimidated into doing something. She has a plan.

The guy who wrote tonight's episode is the only person not named George Raymond Richard Martin who should be allowed to write this show. It was probably my favorite episode ever.

You know it's good writing when you're watching Tyrion finally lose his cool and snap on all the rich, judgmental, egotistical douchebags of Kings Landing, and it feels like you are finally snapping on all the rich, judgmental, egotistical douchebags of Kings Landing.

But it wasn't just Tyrion. Davos' monologue and Hizdahr zo Loraq were just as good. The Tywin-Jamie scene was just beautifully done. And when Dinklage is being nominated for his Emmy just show all that gut wrenching pain from the woman he loved betraying him to the sister he hates. The Dreadfort and Braavos every scene was packed with great dialogue.

If I have one complaint about last night's show, the Dreadfort assault left me scratching my head.

We get this awesome throw down between the ironborn and Bolton soldiers, Bolton's bastard threatens to "release the hounds' and that prompts Yara and company to tuck tail and run???

Because her brother was gone, so why die there.

True, but shouldn't they have had to fight their way out?

Seemed like she made the call to leave then they jump right to them casually walking back to their ship.

I agree. It was like the writers basically said "this is a stupid sub-plot, how can we kill it?" And boom. Done. I'm kind of glad.
