It's just a metaphor for his question. Maybe DJ doesn't think we're the best fit. Not saying that's the case, just giving an explanation. Maybe he wants to be wined and dined seeing how he didn't get that experience last year, and will wait it out

it's a real possibility D.J. Jones makes it to Knoxville sometime this month, and possibly as early as next weekend. It's believed his family is interested in making the three hour drive from Greeneville, S.C., to see the Vols. Jones and his family continue to think very highly of Tennessee.

You not committing VN as a whole to this are you? I think several posters might spontaneously combust if they couldn't complain anymore.

I really hope his family makes it in with him. Butch "Living Room" Jones will make them feel welcome and comfortable DJ coming to UT. The UT staff loyalty wins out in this one and DJ wears Orange next year.

Would love to see CBJ get him in Orange along with McKenzie at DT for 2015. As a lot of others have mentioned, the miss juco scene has not been favorable for UT lately. Tough to get a kid out of there once the handlers get into these kids heads.

On page 1 I was just happy to see ANY DT was being discussed as an option and a possible commitment. I think that was the class where we did not sign a single DT. Carr was going to be an option, but he was kind of a hybrid DT/DE.

I did say, "I have no idea" when it came to what kind of player the kid was. Like most on here at the time, had not heard/read anything about him.

Would love to see us get him, just never like our chances when dealing with the MS Juco scene.

I disagree for the simple reason that in 2015 we will still be relying VERY heavily on freshmen and sophomores. In the SEC even super talented underclassmen get kicked around. By the time 2016 and 2017 roll around, and the current incoming freshmen are getting to be upperclassmen, we should be in the thick of things.
