Are there any updates on Gentry? I thought I had read somewhere that Oklahoma State picked up a QB commit in the last week or so and that it may push Gentry to UT. I can't find where I read it though.

They do have a commit from John Kolar. If I remember right he is out of Norman North in Norman Okla. Dual QB , a four star on the composite.

Any of you gentlemen been able to get a feel on how his visits went with Texas and Bama last week? I've been able to find absolutely nothing. Mind-bottling...

I think he enjoyed the UA visit but not much out there about it. Nothing to suggest UA is even in it. Some our guys believe UA was to late be a player and it looks like it is solely between UT and Okie St. Plus most of the news were all the commits after A-Day.

It looks like UT is in the driver's seat for Gentry. It will be a nice pickup for you guys.

A-Day was ridiculous, two 5 stars and two top rated guys . Lucky trunks.

As in nice pickup for UT regarding Gentry because I believe he is headed to Knoxville.

Actually one of those 2 top rated held off on committing because he was not ready to tell WVU just yet.

He was making fun of the "you guys" part, as in it sounded racist. Just a little humor, because it's obviously not racist. Alternate form of the humor "what do you mean you people?"

Would have loved to get Minkah on the good guys side. Has been a long time since we have had a 5 star CB.

Bench press is a pretty worthless measurement especially for a QB. I thought I remember hearing that Kevin Durant couldn't bench 185 one time coming out of college, and everyone knows how that worked out. I don't see why Gentry would need a good bench max any more than KD did. If he can still throw the ball around like he does now, I don't care if he can't lift the bar.
