Like I said before, Revolutions usually fail.

yes clearly I think it's ok because I called out his ignorant statement. Solid point sparky

what I took from it was he doesn't have a clue what constitutes a race. Makes the rest of his posts irrelevant

Oh, have I hit a nerve? You going to call me names in hope that I will return the favor?
Sparky? Lol

I think they do. I think they move here because the relatively low cost of living. Company's come here for the low taxes and gifts out cities provide. People visit places that are beautiful and we have plenty of those.

we simply disagree on what the rest of the country s perception of us is.that's cool...

I agree that some think that way...I just dont agree that's its as widespread, nor the prevalent oppinion, of most people from other regions.

Yeh...we're cool.

Now if we're talking about just alabama I would agree 100%. :)

Hitler and the Jewish community would tell you its a religion and a race

when I figure out what side of the argument Hitler was on I personally tend to side with the opposite viewpoint. To each their own though

Hitler is a great argument for many topics. Especially the consequences of mass ignorance. The Jewish people say they're a race. I know a lot of them.

What race is Jesus then? He wasn't a Roman.

oh, I didn't know you had a Jewish friend. That changes things

Hitler is a ridiculous argument unless you only want to discuss ridiculous extremes. A person can stop being Jewish at any time they choose. I could claim a UT Volunteer was a race but it doesn't make it so

So funny. The fans ran Him off and made a laughing stock out of us. They sure call it He wanted to leave now. Your type have really hurt us.

It doesn't matter, whatever the case was, he's gone now and we have to move on with Tyndall. I'm almost willing to bet Tyndall does better in his first year at UT than Cuonzo does at Cal.

True. I've heard arguments for both. Honestly, I'm in the middle. Doyle is right though. The point is that Jews are hated more than blacks.

OP hates "revolutions" and how we ran our last coach out of town. So OP starts a thread on day 2 of Tyndall's tenure about how awful we are going to be. Ironic.

Damn, it is amazing how many of these threads run off the rails after a few pages. From Martin and Fulmer to a discussion of Jews--my head is spinning. Where to next--the cosmos?

I admire the south being from the west. The south is the only place where American values still exist.

The south's got problems with its values just like every where else. It's no better or worse than any other place IMO. That's a topic of discussion for another time and place.

That's the nature of the beast. History bears this out again and again and again. Most revolutions fail.

Locally, we fired Fulmer: we started a revolution. Since then, we've had the worst football at UT anyone in history has ever seen.

We run off Cuonzo: it's a revolution. Starting from scratch. We're worse off now than we've been in a long, long time.

To not think this is scorched earth territory is wishful thinking.

I hope I'm wrong. I hope Tyndall gets this rolling right here and now. Unfortunately, I think it's gonna be awhile.

I hate it for JRich.

Wrong for so many reasons. The most obvious being revolutions never fail. Revolts do. Boom, vocabulary lesson!

Sure it is. I can think of a of places that it is better than.

I don't want to come off as a Counzo lover, I would have never fired Pearl in the first place, I would have brought him back in a second. But running off an african american coach after going to the sweet sixteen, the public perception in the rest of the country that were a bunch of racists and the administration isn't supportive of the basketball program isn't worth saving 200 thousand dollars. I never trust somebody can do something before they do it. Can Tyndell take a team to the sweet sixteen? Can he get 5 star recruits out of Memphis? Can he win in the sec and beat Kentucky and Florida? Counzo did. Can he run a clean program? Hasn't done it yet. The only thing he has proven is that he can win a Chazz Bono lookalike contest. And can't keep recruits.

This is why we can't have nice things.

I see you are still spreading you special brand of "knowledge". Judaism is a religion. Ashkenazi Jews like Pearl are White Central European. I know Jews from the Middle East personally and they are Arab. They don't consider themselves the same as the Jews like Pearl. There are Black African Jews who practice the oldest form of Judaism in the world and have been Jews unbroken for 2,000 years. The Jesus argument is a whole different subject for somewhere else. But I will say the Jews in America look nothing like the original Hebrews.

Being Jewish is both a race and choice...Israelites,people from the Judean tribe, and decedents are known as Jews...people who practice Judaism are also known as Jews...you could be Jewish and be a Christian as well...

Not that the OP was good in any way, but this thread sure took a heck of a crazy turn.

If he was that concerned with the buyout is indicative of him knowing we were going to suck for the foreseeable future too. Any coach that changes jobs and moves 2500 miles across the country because of the buyout is very telling. He simply wanted a bigger parachute when his plane inevitability crashed.

I would venture to say that when you figure in state and local income tax in California, CCM will make less than he would have made had he stayed in K-town.

Definitely not a good start for CDT. Karma is a b#%$@.
Here's to us singing a better tune next week.

How do we know these kids that are left won't flourish in CDT's system?

For God's sake, let the man have at least a season, even without the benefit of a full recruiting cycle, before the whining begins.

not possible because:

jerry green took the vols to the sweet sixteen. Counzo Martin took them to the sweet sixteen. 100 years from now the record books will still say so. Nothing you say will change that. You are what your record says you are

and Green got fired - CCM left to take another job. big difference.
