Well yeah I'd say he stands out just a little bit in New Mexico high school football... Hope it translates to big boy ball if he comes to UT. He would be the best compliment to Jennings IMO.

Non-Issue. If Zach Gentry signs with UT, Jennings will not be playing QB in college.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but nobody knows who if either of these two will become the top level QB we are looking for. My guess, which means very little, is Gentry will be the better of the two, but I will not discount Jennings desire and motivation to prove all his doubters wrong. There are questions about the level of competition Gentry faces in NM, so we don't know for sure how he will play against SEC defenses. I am willing to give whoever comes on board the opportunity to prove their ability at that position on the field.

But unless your opinion directly reflects those of Butch Jones and Mike Bajakian (or you are Jones or Bajakian), it's just ridiculous to make the absolute statement that a 16 year-old who hasn't even played his senior year of football will never play QB at Tennessee. How could you possibly know such a thing at this point? How do you know Gentry won't suck at QB and get moved to TE, Blake Bell-style, for that matter? There's no way to tell anything at this point in time.
