Gophers AD not Richard P and from twitter... lol....

I know there was a press release from the AD but nothing from the coach.....

If you asked Brad Stevens a year ago if he was leaving, he would have said "I love my job", and that would be a true statement. Not the same as saying he would not be interested in a job like the Celta job. Every coach puts out an "I have a great job" quote when asked about another job. The fact that some equate that to a statement denying interest in another job, is silly. BTO wants to support his "sky is falling" campaign by saying we have been shot down by these coaches. Its not true though. Not yet at least. Its possible to like CCM like he does and I di, and admit UT can upgrade. We can let go of the doom and gloom attitude. It'll be ok.

Exactly. Not sure whats confusing about that. Pitino could easily release a shory and terse statement.

My working relationship with (athletic director) Bill McGillis, on a scale of 1-10, is a 10. When other situations arise and my name is mentioned, it is a compliment to our players, coaching staff, and the success we've had here at Southern Miss."

That does not say in any way, shape or form say that he is not or would not be interested in the Tennessee job. I believe that he would crawl on broken glass to coach here.

Think what you want bro, like I said I called Okoroh and Cofer before anyone else, same for AJD last year.

I've said it already, but I'll repeat, I have no inside info on the coaching search. If you do I would love to hear it.

Funny how much you deflect things. And I know nothing of the search. Cause as I said, recruits opinions aren't taken. Therefore, his coach has no clue. Since his coach has no clue, I have no clue. Nor have I alluded to.

If it came across that I was trying to infer I had inside info on the coaching search my apologies for apparently not speaking clearly. I've never claimed to have inside info on it, and I don't see that changing, if it does I'll let ya know.

@VCUinsider: Rumor: #Shaka Smart's conversation with Bruce Pearl centered around the implications of the fan base. It comes down to fidelity for Shaka.

This "insider" just made an account when all the rumors about Shaka going to Marquette started.
