Someone got into daddy's liquor cabinet a wee bit early this morning.Last year it was widely reported that our offensive line was arguably the best in the SEC. Obviously we had other issues and those and perhaps Tiny playing at 65% challenged those reports on gameday. Call it the nature of the business but I don't expect to see reports this year that flat out states that we have the worst offensive line in the conference but I think factually that would be a pretty accurate report. Some how I hope our guys up front get this message loud and clear so much to the point that they get sick and damn angry at hearing it - from their own fans, then maybe they'll pull out an effort like our basketball team and play up to the challenge carrying a big azz chip on their shoulders to the very end. It's probably our only hope. We need big uglies up front and we have 5 cute fwat wittle babies.
If we had an offensive line this year with everything else we've got we'd make some real Tennessee football noise. As it is all we're likely to be treated to is the whiny nagging crying of a group of pre-potty trained over-stuffed lard azz babies. I wouldn't be opposed to putting every damn one of them up for adoption right now. I know some people will say I'm going too far and these guys will probably surprise us this year but for all you mommies I want to let you in on a little secret, these guys, your precious little baby boys, are the very definition of girly boys. And saving the best for last, these puny wimps probably wouldn't even be accepted as walkons at Candy.![]()
Thig did what Thig was brought in to do. The portion of the product that he is responsible for, the talent level, greatly increased under his watch.
My guess is Hart wants a bowl game before more raises. I'm sure if we do well this fall and make a decent bowl, raises will be coming. It's hard to leverage a raise with 5-7 seasons.
And they shouldn't get raises til the product on the field is better.
That raise is a bit weak IMO. Need to keep a guy like thig motivated and I am not certain that will do it.
Also, I enjoyed EAs comments. Very different approach. If that is what butch did I would applaud it.

Riley Ferugson is the most talented QB we have on the team. but it's obvious he's just snapping the ball and winging it out there.
No pre-snap adjustments, forcing throws, no checkdown passes.
At the spring game I saw 3 guys blitz from the weakside and Riley just snapped it and of course got sacked and fumbled the ball. He's also thrown a lot of INT's in the other scrimmages by forcing throws.
I hope Ferguson puts it all together, because I think he's an NFL QB talent.
Wasnt he the only one of the 4 that threw a checkdown in the O&W game? The one he threw to Hurd.
While I understand that he was essential to signing a top 5 class, I would call an almost 7% raise weak for a 5-7 record.
