Sigh. I want Gibson as much as anybody, and I wouldn't deny that the SEC is the best conference. But that's just a silly statement. Ohio State played:

Michigan state - beat #5 Stanford OOC

Wisconsin - played right with #9 South Carolina OOC

Penn State - Beat #15 Wisconsin

Played right with #12 Clemson.

Also played a decent Michigan team.

That isn't a murderer's row...but it isn't weak enough to suggest that anybody who wants to play there is afraid of competition.

Compared to playing in the SEC? Pretty weak.

It's a weaker schedule than you will face in the SEC, of course. But, it isn't like playing in the MAC. It doesn't indicate that a recruit who you are otherwise desperate for would be "soft" and "afraid of competition".

I couldn't agree more. Mr. Holloway is an amazing man to sit down and conversate with. I've had the opportunity on several occasions and you will never find a better ambassador for The University of Tennesse. Condredge is a living legend. He was an unbelievable football player but an even better person.

I'm leaning that way myself. Even if it isn't this weekend, I think it will happen sooner rather than later. Always go with my gut and I'm getting feel goods when it comes to Gibson.
