'15 TN DT/OL Zach Stewart (UT Signee 2/4/15)

I'll always have a special place in my heart for Coalfield, TN. Pass through there all the time. I've even been through there and had the pleasure of seeing Jesus walking up and down the road bearing the cross ;).

Coalfield and Nazareth are in different hemispheres.

The kid is an absolute monster and it looks like he moves really well for his size. I hope he makes it to some of the bigger combines on the circuit. He could really make a name for himself IMO.

@Volquest_Paul: Tennessee OL commitment @zstew55 repping the Vols with the SIZE 17 orange shoes at the #RivalsCamp

Zach is as strong as an ox. Country boy strong. His upper body needs some work, but man if he gets his hands on you, you are done. His demeanor is very serious. Very even keeled, approached each rep like a pro does. A lot of guys were jawing and mouthing off and he never flinched or seemed phased. All business. As soon as the whistle blows he is nasty and was pancaking fools. Whistle blows and he immediately goes back to the line and doesn't smile or say a word. The DL turnout for this camp was impressive, and Zach was one of the only OL winning a rep, much less he won 6 of 7 reps. He and Chuma are so much better than the other OL prospects at this event, it's not even funny.

BTW really hope we get Chuma, he was downright impressive. His wingspan is huge and his feet are so quick. It's impossible to get around him, even if he gets faked out he is able to recover. He is a 5* if i ever saw one.

I say, can I get a BOOM!?

Yeah a lot of the other OL were holding left and right, they were getting beaten by the DL often. I realize this drill in a camp setting is set up for DL....it's difficult for an OL to have a fair chance, but that also should let you guys know how good Zach is. He was impressive.

Thanks for the report. We will be getting Chuma in about two months from now!

First off, Tennessee's three commitments had nice days today. I know coming into the even some wondered how Dylan Jackson and Zach Stewart would do coming into Georgia going against a lot better talent than they were used to.

Both faired really well, today, particularly Stewart. Stewart weighed in at 322 pounds and when he got his hands on you the rep was over. He was beat a few times by smaller guys, but when he went against true defensive tackles he won the rep.

He has good feet for someone his size and really had a good day today.

RCS ATLANTA: Top Performers - Offense

11. OG ZACH STEWART, COALFIELD, TENN.
Tennessee was the first school to offer Stewart last year and he promptly committed. It appears the Vols were clearly ahead of the curve with Stewart. He showed great footwork and surprising strength while using his big body to wall off defenders. Stewart is still a little raw technically, but as an interior lineman he clearly has a tremendous base that will only be built upon at the next level.

Coalfield and Nazareth are in different hemispheres.

Nazareth is in PA, close to Bethlehem.
Mario Andretti's hometown. :p

ZStew is poised to make a BIG name for himself, on our Rise To The Top!

You should try to get out to Rochelle Field this fall and watch him.

Mike Farrell put up a video analysis of Stewart from the Rivals Charlotte camp and he had some very positive things to say. Said he was "very impressed". Also said "He's a massive strong kid. I love the way he continually rode guys out of the play. He consistently was physical. Tennessee's getting a good guard here, a kid I really like."

Sounds like he might get bumped to a 4star, IMO.
