How could he choose to lose? Did he and Brock Lesnar screw over the writers and decide to change the outcome during the match?

Furthermore, how the hell do you bet on something that is predetermined?

That's like betting if a character dies on a TV show. There are likely several dozen people who already know the outcome who could get rich off that.

I'm sure that the Undertaker has enough political capital in the WWE at this point that he got to decide the how, when, and who of the end of his streak.

Men: I'm in the belly of the beast. Columbia, SC.

1) I'm checking the Master's off my bucket list tomorrow.

2) It's 2:00 am and I smell like baby powder and debauchery.

3) Downtown Columbia blows compared to Knoxville. Plus, I've let them all know we beat that a$$ last year.

4) I hope you can purchase egg salad and pimiento cheese sammiches and, more importantly, beer, with $2 bills.

5) We are leaving for Augusta in 4 hours and I'm posting on VN. I'm VFL bUTches.

See y'all at the O/W game Vol brethren.

I spent some time this evening listening to the podcasts on TSR, skipping to the good parts, and one comment I heard a number of times, and it's something I've read in various threads on VN, is if Worley is the starter for us at QB, "I'm okay with that."

I've heard all kinds of reasons why people want Riley but the phrase "I'm okay with that" doesn't seem to be used by as many in that discussion. To me this suggests that while there's a lot of people who really want Riley for any number of reasons, they understand we may have to SETTLE for Justin.

At this point, today, based on all the reports, I would not name a QB and, unless something changed significantly between now and game day Aug 30, I would hold off naming a QB. On Aug 30 I'd give Riley the first series and maybe the second series and maybe the third series. If he performed reasonably well he'd be my QB. If not, I'd fall back to Justin, but I would not settle for what I perceive as less without first knowing that I had exhausted my options to do better.

I suppose in a way you could say that I would have made Riley the starter by default but was unwilling to commit publicly. I've seen other coaches do this in the past when they were uncertain starting out the season and had sufficient concerns to cause them to be hesitant in committing in advance of game evidence. We're just not really going to know what we want to know about Riley until he lines up in a real game and takes some snaps. Right?

What do you guys think?

P.S. Just for the record, "I'll be OKAY with who ever we have at QB." :) I really do respect the coaches in this matter so this is just bar talk.

A win over Florida would make the season. I'd be okay with not making a bowl as long as we got that monkey off our back, and beating Vanderbilt and Kentucky. (Course if we did that we'd pretty much be a lock for a bowl anyway.

Wear it with pride, lol

What are the chances that Hendrix will make his grades? How many classes is he taking this summer? Anyone know?

I'm in the market for a new gas grill....under $500. Any suggestions?
Right now I'm leaning towards the new Char Broil infrared grill.

Picked up a Broil King at Lowe's last weekend. $499.00. Grilled a couple sirloins over the weekend. Very impressive. If I'm not mistaken, it can heat to around 600* plus. Easy to get a good sear. Very even heat at low temp. as well.

You may hit up StoVol. Pretty knowledgable in this department.

Taker agreed to lose. Vince would never force him to end the streak.

I got the chargriller kamado for 299 at Lowes. It is not a gas grill but it can get seriously hot quick.
