I think the reason he moved his UT visit up was so he could be at the bama spring game. Maybe the tx offer has him rethinking that trip. Maybe he takes time to see both. The tx offer is the one to be worried about now IMO. With okie st already having a 2015 QB committed, I'd like to think the UT situation puts us ahead of them.
I also just realized IF Jennings commits on the 7th, maybe the okie st situation is not so much in our favor then. :ninja:
"It went really. I had a good feeling about it. It kind of took me by surprise, it was a little bit more than I thought it was going to be," Gentry said. "They covered everything. I had some questions going into it, but after the visit I didn't have anything to ask because they had everything covered. They went over the academics and Thornton Center, the living situation, meal plan, everything."
"Probably just the personal care that I got and the attention," answered Gentry when asked what stood out the most. "They always had be doing something, there were always coaches close by and we spent a lot of the time with the coaches and walking around and visiting places. I'll also remember the facilities and the campus tour."
"I sat down with coach Jake for the better part of two days for a while and kind of evaluated the offense of Tennessee and the tape," Gentry explained. "It was good because I have more of a feel for the offense and how I would fit in. We just went over the basics of the offense and scheme."
"I think they set the bar pretty high," Gentry said. "I think that Tennessee was up there for me from the beginning. I only picked a couple of schools to visit with them being one of them and that shows I'm more interested in them and then the visit went really well. I think they are definitely towards the top."
