Just spoke with four-star quarterback Zach Gentry of Eldorado High School in Albuquerque, N.M., following his visit to Tennessee over the weekend, and he said he was blown away by his first look at the Vols. He said he was impressed by the campus and facilities, and he enjoyed getting to spend time with coach Butch Jones, offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian and some of UT's players.
Gentry, who weighed in at 6 feet 7 inches and 230 pounds during the visit, said he's planning to visit Oklahoma State this weekend, and he might visit Alabama, Texas or somewhere else after that. This weekend's trip was his first visit since he attended some camps last summer, but he admitted that Tennessee set the bar pretty high for other teams, and he really likes the Vols right now. He doesn't have a specific timetable for his college choice, but he's still hoping to make his decision by this summer.
We'll have a full story on him shortly.
