Recruiting Forum: Football Talk XI

We've got big time players again. Sutton Moseley combo on the edge already has me excited. I'm already planning on being at 2-3 games this year. Florida, Bama, and one more if I have the time. Also going to the bowl game this year(yeah I'm claiming it). :)

I love just diving into random threads and seeing the first thread on a page with no context. It's hilarious. For instance:

How can you not chuckle if that's all you have to go by?

Context is overrated!

Clark Kellogg and Sir Charles picked UT. Greg Anthony picked Michigan to win.

Edit... Wasn't Greg Anthony, maybe Kenny Smith not sure

Some terrible officiating already. Very one-sided. Armani gets mauled and stripped...no call. Then we get a touch foul called against us.

I know I'm late on naming a starting qb discussion, but if they name RF or JD the #1 after spring that may cause JW to transfer since he only has a year of eligibility left. That wouldn't be good with some thinking NP may transfer out after this semester anyways. I don't see them naming a starter after spring unless it's JW. Even if that's just to keep JW around his last year and push RF and JD throughout the summer and into fall camp. I honestly don't see them naming one at all until fall though even if they have a really good idea who it's gonna be.

As far as the Cuonzo talk, I'm sorry, but I'm still not sold on him. I think us being in the sweet 16 has more to do with the players stepping up their game bc they know this is their last shot at making a run than it has to do with coaching. If some boosters are pulling their support at this point they likely still aren't sold on Zo either. Especially if they know it's hurting recruiting and whatever else. Like I've said before, Zo's a great guy, but I just don't think he's the guy to get this program to where it has the potential to be on a consistent basis despite our current run to S16. We should've been playing a lot closer to the level we are now all year. Or at least the majority of it. JMO
Funny how you haters come up with ways to justify Zo's late success. Not his coaching ability but fear. Not his coaching ability but a petition. Hell we all ought to start petitions to fire coaches for our favorite teams and voila. They win. It's a narcissistic way to not own up to the fact that people were wrong. But not Vol fans. They want a thank from Zo for apparently coaching up this team from behind a computer. I never knew coaching was that easy.

Watching this Michigan offense from the arc is what it must have looked like to be on the other side of the Bray-Hunter-Patterson trio of destruction.

Report from the game:

Officials suck.
Michigan's 3-pt shooting is killing us.
We need to pound it inside and force Michigan to foul us.

Gotta have a great effort I'm the 2nd half. GBO!!
