'15 NM QB Zach Gentry

I believe in Tennessee! Coach Jones and staff believe in Tennessee! Why, because WE ARE TENNESSEE!!! If you are reading this, you probably are Tennessee as well! We are going after Gentry and we will kick Texas in the butt! Come on Tennessee, get positive and let's get us a QB that we can win a championship with!!!

I would love to see Gentry pick our Vols. I also think that we have QBs on campus currently who can lead this team to championships.

This is the guy I want for QB in this class. Just have a good feeling about him. I like taller QB's and this guy reminds me of Tyler Bray with wheels and hopefully a good attitude and character. I think with our receivers we need a guy who has the arm to take shots down field, and I think Gentry is just the guy we're looking for.

We either lock him up or we keep shopping while he is doing the same. May still be a match but they have not stopped recruiting other QB's and will continue to do so.

Really hope he has a great visit this weekend. This is the type of young man we need for the future. Reel this big fish in CBJ!

So will his visit and Gibson's overlap some? and if so, I wonder how the coaches will handle it. Because you know both kids will want to feel like the most important QB recruit.

Please do, that way when an elite prospect lands a huge offer, we don't look like a 2nd rate program that's ready to give up on the kid.

Who said anything about giving up on the kid? I was simply implying that, what several other posters have now eluded to now, that other big time programs closer to home have jumped into the fray and this was causing me, and other posters to raise an eyebrow. Tennessee is second rate to NO ONE but to think that we will land a prospect simply because Butch Jones, or anyone else on this staff for that matter, visits would be foolish.

Don't bother explaining yourself to the guy. He is a joke. He has some serious sense of superiority, its never worth arguing with those types.

Kid would be crazy not to come here with the skill players we hauled in this year that would be playing around him...

"On Friday Tennessee will welcome four-star New Mexico quarterback Zach Gentry is making his way across the country to see the Vols and Is expected to be in Knoxville from Friday evening until Monday morning.

We caught up with Gentry Thursday night and he called it a 'huge' visit for himself and he will be accompanied by his father on the trip. Tennessee, Oklahoma State and Alabama are all set to receive visits as of right now with Tennessee this weekend, Oklahoma State soon and he hopes to be at Alabama's spring game on April 19."
