What do you mean whining about Virginia? Virginia destroyed us so what is there to whine about, I didn't think Memphis had a chance of winning honestly. You guys beat them by 30pts but you make it sound as if teams don't improve as the season progresses. Florida thumped you guys similarly earlier this season but the second game was very competitive, as i said teams improve. If UT played Virginia again i'm sure the Wahoos would be favored......

Every year some otherwise underwhelming team makes a run to the Sweet 16.

Yet for four consecutive years Memphis has made the tourney and advanced the last two- and will overwhelmingly make the tourney again.

And should Memphis win one game- simpletons will seek for a team that won more in order to post the same baiting nonsense.
utk did not make the tourney the last few years and will likely not make it next year. mispisppi made it last year- only. Arkansas has yet to appear of late.

Yet- while Memphis makes it year after year after year- yet unfortunately has lost before the Sweet 16- somehow the simpletons will promote Florida Gulf Coast.

Give me Memphis next season and the season after that. And give me Memphis prior history. You can have this one reasonably lucky run.

You guys just have the balance this year while we didn't. Pastner has admitted that he miss judged the shooting of the seniors guards. By playing the three guard lineup, Pastner stunted the growth of Kuran, Nick, and Damien.

A new era begins and it is time to move on from the 2010 class. Only three memphis kids and they don't have any handlers or ego in their ear. We will be a big and tall team that will go through Shaq and Austin. We will and should beat teams like Virginia next year. We will be back dancing but you guys are a mystery for next year.

With Stokes returning we'll be dancing too, and with the better coach it should help.

You don't have the better coach. It took him 7 years to make the sweet 16. I guarantee Pastner surpasses that x10 now that the program is back on level ground. I am not fooled by this fools gold you guys stumbled on this year

You keep bringing up beating Virginia everytime. Basketball is a fluid game and not set in stone like football. In a 10 game series Virginia would more than likely win 9/10 against UT especially how they are playing now

That's speculation, fact is Tennessee beat Virginia by 35 and Virginia beat Memphis by 18 (which was a gift lol)

If anything it is a trend. Out the first two then one and done the next two. It seems like progression to me.

Well Pastner owns Cuonzo but that isn't something Memphis fans should hang our hat on right? Beating Cuonzo doesn't amount to doing much right?
