Tennessee’s Circle of Life drill is one of the most anticipated events of practice.
Two players line up across from each other in a three-point stance, surrounded by a circle of their teammates. The players battle head-to-head until someone wins.
It’s the ultimate test of adrenaline-pumping manhood in front of one’s peers. (Okay maybe that’s a bit of exaggeration, but you get the idea.) And of course, everyone is especially anxious to see how the newcomers handle themselves.
