Jarnell Stokes, who was drafted with the 35th pick in last month’s NBA Draft, saw his first action as pro on Saturday night. The former Vol scored 10 points, grabbed five rebounds and two blocks in 20 minutes of action for Memphis as the Grizzlies routed Oklahoma City by a final score of 84-63.

“Looking at our offense, I can see why the bigs thrive here,” Stokes said. “I just have to learn to slow down, because like most rookies, I speed myself up out there sometimes. But it will come and I will get better.”

Jordan McRae will see his first summer league action with the Philadelphia 76ers next weekend in Las Vegas. McRae was the 58th overall pick.

Another former Vol, Renaldo Woolridge, will play for the Los Angeles Lakers summer league team for the second consecutive year.

The summer league games are televised by NBA TV.
