Demonte BoldenDemonte Bolden DL 6-5 300 Chattanooga, TN (Tyner)
Demonte Bolden had dreams of playing for Tennessee last year but it didn't work out that way. He failed to qualify academically and ended up at Hargrave (VA) Military Academy. Now he is ready as ever and will enroll at Tennessee in January and will most likely see playing time during the 2005 season.
Bolden was highly touted out of Tyner High School in Chattanooga. He was a Parade All American in 2003 as well as the Class 2A Mr. Football. The Knoxville News Sentinel rated him as the number one prospect in Tennessee. His Sr. year he had 112 tackles, 64 solo, 17 sacks, and 26 tackles for a loss on a team that finished 12-2. Bolden played both Offensive Line and Defensive Line. He is very athletic and can move very well for someone of his size.
Tidbits: Some have compared him to Reggie White at this point in his career. He was born November 17, 1985. |
