Orange and White Game promotional video

There isn’t quite as much hype surrounding Tennessee’s annual spring game this year compared to the last couple seasons. Numerous injuries will severely limit options for anything resembling much of an actual scrimmage, and many of the players that fans hope to see, probably won’t participate today. (Click here to see our attempt at figuring out exactly who is injured compared to last spring.)

Two players you will see are quarterbacks Jarrett Guarantano and Quinten Dormady. Both are healthy and will face off in what has been the most-hyped position battle of the spring. Guarantano was the odds-on favorite to win the job coming into camp, but Dormady has held his own this spring, according to most reports, and he may even be a little ahead at this point. Today is your chance to see both quarterbacks in action and draw your own conclusions.

Watch this video Butch Jones tweeted out on Friday and tell me that seeing our players out on the field in orange and white, popping pads, doesn’t get your blood pumping just a little.

In whatever form it’s presented to us, whether it’s a scrimmage or simple drills, today we get to watch Tennessee football for the last time until August. Don’t miss out.

Of course, we’ll have the annual Orange and White game day thread posted in the Tennessee Vols Football forum. Drop by and let’s watch and overanalyze this glorified practice together. Again, it’s our last chance to see Tennessee football in any form for several months.
