OC/SoCal Vols Fans

We got just over two weeks until our Vols take the field in the ATL. Gonna be an awesome atmosphere in the Dome ... Just moved back to the OC/Anaheim area last week and was wondering where some other fellow SoCal diehard Vols fans will be watching the opener? Any popular sports bars around here that we could take-over for a few hours to root on our Vols?

The game would start at like 4:30 on Friday afternoon for you out there on the left coast...pretty sweet Happy Hour and Vols football

I remember watching the UT/SDSU NCAA tourney game at the OC Tavern in San Clemente a few years ago. I was quite outnumbered.

There was a smaller get together at Mutt Lynch's in Newport Beach for several games the last couple of years. 5-10 people max. Nice Dive bar on the peninsula and right on the ocean. I've also watched a couple at Rudy's in Newport with some fellow Vol fans. It's also on the peninsula and it has a retractable roof.

There is a larger get together in LA at Q's Billiards on Wilshire. I've been to that one a few times and it's fun but its a long drive. The 405 is hard enough to drive when you're not half lit. I'll be in Atlanta for NC State but I'm probably gonna meet up with some Vol fans for the second game somewhere in the OC. I'll let you know when we decide on a location.

We have a group in San Diego, there is one in OC that meets at ESPN Zone at Downtown Disney I believe

Dang. I never knew about this group. I used to live two streets up from Q's. I might have to make a trip over the hill for a game. Thanks for the info.
