| Strip has really went downhill ever since the powers that be got mad we were named top party school in america. So they made the cops start harrasing people on the strip. It is just not fun to be over there anymore. |

| Is there such a thing as a good BWW?
I always liked the place the Roaming Gnome (if it's still there) and whatever it was called before that. Had good times at Hanna's and Sunspot too. |

| The strip is where businesses go to die. If you're going there, half barrel and sunspot have the best beer selections. |

| Also Fort Sanders Yacht Club (the Barcade almost on the corner of Cumberland and 17th) has an okay bottle selection. |

| I agree...BWW tends to attract a rough crowd. I somewhat liked the strip from 2000-2004. It seems like the cops got very strict about public intox and liquid knoxville brought in the rednecks and thugs who liked to fight. So go downtown to the brewery or barleys. The strip is now an embarassment in my opinion...too much of a redneck hangout. |

| The strip used to be great. O'Charley's was even a party spot with live bands. |
