Season Opener Watching, M-town

Any Memphians know of a good spot to watch the first game next weekend? I was considering paying for pay per view or going to the pub to watch it.

I think last time I watched a pay per view game I had to hit the Fox and the Hound on Sanderlin.

There used to be viewing parties sponsored by the local Alumni Chapter at different Fox and Hound locations, but I think they moved to Buffalo Wild Wings last year. Their website has been not working for about a year now, so I am not sure what is up with that.

I typically watch at one of the two places above. Typically, I hit the F&H in Southaven (where I live) and like that one bc its not as crowded as some of the others unless there are major games or mma fights that same time.

Try Central BBQ on Summer.

I remember watching the Air Force game a few years back at the F&H in East Memphis. It was a pay per view game.

The Fox and Hound in Cordova off Germantown Pkway is the one that had the Fan Club IIRC. I watched a game there and it was pretty enjoyable. Fox and Hound there or Sanderlin is your best option IMO.

Yeah I'm not a big fan of the one in Cordova. It's kind of a redneck crowd.

I'm not a fan of the Cordova location because they shut it down for being a recreational pharmaceutical distributor.

The Sanderlin location should have it on - call and confirm.

Bump... new info.....

The local Alumni Chapter is having their viewing parties at the Racquet Club of Memphis in the Pub area for the Montana and UF games. Cost is $5 for the Montana game, free for UF. They are having a cash bar and $5 tapas bar. All parties begin 30 mins prior to kickoff.

-- I got an email with that info a few days ago.

IMO, I would just assume hit up the Fox and Hound (Southaven in my case) and have a better food and beverage selection in addition to a having multiple games on at once.
