| Best bars downtown?
Staying in the Hilton and will probably want to stay downtown Friday night. Will hit the strip on Saturday.
What are the best bars downtown?
- More interested in bars/pubs, not lounges/clubs
- Should have decent beer list, but a crazy long one isn't necessary.
- Live music is good - prefer cover bands than original stuff for a night like this.
- Nice scenery is a plus but not necessarily required since we'll be on the strip the following night. |

| I usually go to downtown bar and grill. Room to move.
Preservation pub is alright. Live music all the time, 3 floors including rooftop.
Old city is a shortish walk. Barleys has a pretty large beer selection on draft and live music. | |

| Yeah, I'd say brewery or barleys. Both have live music most the time. Barleys has a larger selection of beer but the brewery has their own. I prefer the atmosphere at the brewery, though.
