Pizza Palace, Barley's and Stefano's are all good. |

Pizza Palace is ok. Sort of like Big Eds...if you grew up with it, it's awesome. If you didn't, you'll probably be a little underwhelmed. But, no reason not to try it.
I find Stefano's good but I only visit once every year or two. It's more Chicago with lots of cheese and sits like a brick in your stomach. |

On more than one occasion, I've been taking someone who heard about Pizza Palace on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives there to eat and said "The Hell with it. We're going to Chandler's." Nobody has ever complained about the decision. |

Hard to beat stone fired or brick oven pizza....generally they all beat the traditonal oven baking crust pizza. |

Anything else and you're just wasting your time.

| For me Elidio's in N. Knox. Great crust, sauce and the topping are fresh. The only place I eat large thin crust by myself..
