The point is that you're saying that we have 3 upgrades that weren't starters while ignoring that every other team has the same situation.

Every other team does not have the same situation and I didn't say anything about those 3 (Kennedy, DWA, Chandler) being upgrades. John Kelly was pretty darn good. I do think we've upgraded at TE and C though.

To summarize, here's the gist of my message:

I don't disagree with how news outlets report "returning starters". I'm just saying our team is as good as a team that does indeed have 19 returning starters. That's why my thread title says "Vols are basically returning 19 starters"

there's little difference between the three guys I mentioned and a "returning starter".
