A joke too far: Comedians forced to take down video in which they accuse Fox & Friends host Brian Kilmeade of sexual harassment and being Trump's closest advisor after following him on subway

Two men who filmed a video of themselves following Brian Kilmeade home on the subway while accusing him of sexual harassment have been forced to remove the footage.

Things get awkward right off the bat in the minute-long video as Kilmeade is asked if he was 'accused of sexually harassing Gretchen Carlson.'

The two men then follow Kilmeade onto the subway, with one announcing: 'Hey everyone, this is Brian Kilmeade, he says lots of weird, kinda racisty stuff on the news a lot.'

That is when the second man adds: 'This is the closest personal adviser to Donald Trump, the host Brian Kilmeade. If you have anything you want Donald Trump to say or do, tell this guy cause he’s the only person in America that Donald Trump listens to.'

In response to the subway announcement, one person on the train joins in on the attack.

'He’s a career criminal, he’s a traitor, he should go to hell!' says the unidentified person.

Another man then shouts: 'Stop grabbing pu****s.'

The video was posted and then taken down as a number of Kilmeade's co-workers objected to the stunt.

'My friend @kilmeade was harassed in the nyc subway yesterday. He is one of the nicest people I know. Where do we draw the line? Why do people think they’re above the law?' tweeted Janice Dean.

'Can you imagine if this was a @CNN or @MSNBC host or a woman? It’s outrageous, sick and dangerous.'

HLN fires big-name hosts, cuts three live shows in drastic overhaul at CNN sister network

CNN’s sister network, HLN, has axed top anchors Carol Costello, Ashleigh Banfield and Michaela Pereira as part of a complete programing overhaul, Fox News confirmed on Tuesday.

As first reported by Mediaite, CNN executives announced the changes during company-wide meetings at HLN headquarters in New York, Atlanta and Los Angeles.

HLN – formerly known as Headline News – has struggled to maintain an identity in recent years and has been plagued with constant rebranding and programming shakeups. The network once famous for its news ticker and constant updates eventually pivoted to true crime and investigative programing before adding a handful of live, CNN-style studio shows.

The latest change eliminates all live programming other than “Morning Express with Robin Meade” and the daytime show “On the Story.”

Fox News Channel beats MSNBC, CNN COMBINED in Weekly Viewership
Fox News Channel dominated the cable news industry last week, topping all of basic cable among total day viewers for the 40th week in a row and topping MSNBC and CNN combined during prime time, according to Nielsen.

FNC’s 8-11 p.m. ET lineup of “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” “Hannity,” “The Ingraham Angle” and “Fox News @ Night with Shannon Bream” averaged 2.6 million viewers, compared to 1.5 million for MSNBC and just 832,000 for CNN. The period of Oct. 8-14 marks the second straight week that FNC topped MSNBC and CNN combined during prime time.

The jam-packed news week featured Kanye West’s White House visit, the swearing-in ceremony of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and a variety of midterm elections content. Fox News finished behind only the Major League Baseball-heavy TBS during prime time, ranking No. 2 among all of basic cable for the week for total viewers. ESPN, MSNBC, Hallmark Channel, HGTV, USA, Fox Sports 1, TLC and Discovery joined the Top 10, while CNN finished No. 14.

Several Fox News programs topped the NFL Network’s highly publicized “Thursday Night Football,” and “The Story with Martha MacCallum” had the distinction of being the highest-rated cable news show of the week when the Oct. 8 episode averaged 4 million viewers. FNC also topped cable news in the key demo of adults ages 25-54, averaging 487,000 prime-time viewers while CNN averaged 274,000 and MSNBC finished third with 265,000.

As for total day viewers, Fox News finished No. 1 across all of basic cable for the 40th consecutive week by averaging 1.6 million viewers. TBS, ESPN, MSNBC and Nickelodeon followed, but failed to average over 1 million viewers, respectively. Fox News also topped cable news challengers combined in this category, as MSNBC averaged 852,000 and CNN averaged only 634,000 total day viewers.

Reed Hastings to the rest of the TV industry: Give up, just focus on news and sports

  • Netflix says the future of television will be mainly news and sports.
  • Netflix predicts linear cable networks will abandon on-demand programming for live events.
Netflix has a prediction: The future of live television is Rupert Murdoch's "New Fox."

"New Fox" is the company that will exist after Fox sells $71.3 billion of its assets to Disney. It's basically Fox's broadcast channel, its owned and operated affiliate networks, Fox News, Fox Business, and its national Fox Sports channels. Some in the industry also suspect New Fox may buy back the 22 regional sports networks it agreed to sell Disney if there isn't a higher bidder.

Netflix said in its earnings statement on Tuesday that "New Fox appears to have a great strategy, which is to focus on large simultaneous-viewing sports and news." The company goes on to say, "Other linear networks are likely to follow this model over time."

In other words, Netflix believes there are going to be a bunch of on-demand services, which will be delivered over the Internet, and then there's going to be TV, which will deliver you live events such as news and sports.

That means Disney and Comcast's NBCUniversal would split their assets between using their content for streaming and TV.
And linear TV networks that don't focus on news and sports would have to change or be eliminated. That's a heck of a lot of cable networks — pretty much any network that doesn't have news or sports. Almost every channel Viacom and Discovery own in the U.S. fall into that category, for instance.

There's certainly some self-interest in this prediction — New Fox doesn't compete with Netflix.

But Netflix says outright that it wants to dominate your entertainment hours. Its long-term strategy statement talks about winning people's "moments of truth" when they decide to watch Netflix rather than enjoying "a shared experience with friends and family."

Taker into account that Amazon video now broadcasts live NFL as well. Just over night a week but it's a tie in the water.

You're genuinely not as clever as you think. I have no fear regarding propaganda and misinformation, just concern. The pitfalls are far too obvious. A well informed populace is the foundation of freedom. We're proving that we are not smart enough to be free.
The liberals are f'ing it up for everybody

Damn those liberals always wanting to include subjects like evolution and climate change in the school curriculum.
This indoctrination stuff is paranoid nonsense. There's this thing called freedom of choice, if you don't like it, send your kid somewhere else and stop whining.
You're more full of **** than a Xmas turkey.... naive too

Another reason why we should all be wary of any expansion of government under any administration. One presidents good intentions can be another presidents abuse.

I welcome you to the small government idealogy, Mick.

Yes unless of course it is to tell women what they can’t do with their bodies

Your last line, if not a troll job, is why I am glad your socialism is buried deeply in a red state and will never see the light of day.

Please provide your vision of socialism and what you don’t like about it? Have kids attending public schools?

I told you why “ you think “ . The problem is when we get a belly full of it , you get a Trump . The liberal idiology has gone to far left , a hard pull back to the center is what you are experiencing now .

To the center. Surely you jest. Got a link?
