Got a cap thingy for his trake so he can speak now. That’s a big step all on its own.

I got lucky and found a friend of his who will keep us updated. I figure the more who know, the more who will pray for our buddy

Update from Memphis

As of Saturday , about the same. They are pushing him on physical therapy a little harder, but had a peg tube put in Tuesday and has been sore from that.

From Memphis

He’s having his ups and downs , but mostly ups...

It looked like he was going to get his trach out next week , but his right lung collapsed again and they had to go in and put a tube in to reinflate it and drain it

But he now has just a nasal cannula for oxygen so they capped his trach and he can talk
