So far, East Tennessee is 3-0 with Greenback, Alcoa and Knoxville Catholic High School all winning this evening.

Congrats to all three.

I watched all three.

I thought it was kind of funny when they interviewed Greg Ryan. His first answer was it hadn't set in yet. But by the end. it had.

Another TSSAA travesty:

Knox Catholic in a public school division. The rest of the teams in 5A might as well hang it up for the foreseeable future. They will continue to be district, and most likely state, champions until the TSSAA is forced to send them back to Div II where they belong.

Greeneville (#1 class 4A) taking on Springfield in Cookeville for state championship today at 3pm (CST).
Greeneville beat the top 2 6A teams in east TN (Science Hill and Dobyns Bennett) this season.

Go Greene Devils!
