There were two choices. Clinton was a known quantity; between the two, I think Trump has worked out the better of them.

And those uneducated Trump voters; you attempt to denigrate Trump's win by ascribing it to uneducated, working class voters - i.e. blue collar. Apparently, Democrats no longer value the vote of working people, the every man, which is why you continue to lose elections.

Nobody with any brains ever thought Bredesen was a "good ole boy" democrat thats just wants whats right for Tennessee. The dude is from the liberal northeast and his grandmothers house where he grew up (from his commercials) wasn't in Tennessee, it was in New Hampshire or Vermont or some other liberal haven like that.

NH has been dominated by Republicans forever, with Democrats getting a split in the 2000s; Repubs hold the state house and governorship. Vermont was red for a long time until the 1990s. I wouldn't cast them with NY, CT and such.
