Oregon 2018 Prediction

Oregon's football program has really slipped from what it was.............................................just sayin';)
I think people are over estimating just how far Oregon "has slipped". Oregon's defense is probably in the best shape it's "EVER" been in under Leavitt. Then toss in a Heisman caliber QB, an offensive line that will likely be quite good, especially given Cristobal's experience as an o-line coach at bama. The wide receiving corp are quite talented as are the RBs. Sure we don't have a 230# RB that's going to knock people backwards to pick up 3 yards, but they will go to the house if you miss a tackle. So yea it's not a perfect team this year, but it's bigger and stronger across the board.

One example of beefing up is QB Justin Herbert after lifting with DE Jelks in the off season, he's now 6'6" and 240#

It would be cool if Oregon could throw a wrench in the Playoffs and beat Washington;)

That's a very underrated rivalry:cool:
Yea, maybe further east it's underrated. But in PAC-12 country and especially the NW, it's very well understood. Washington voted Oregon out of the Rose Bowl in 1948. In 1948 Oregon and Cal tied for the PAC-8 title. The four NW schools always voted as a block for a school from the NW and the four California schools stuck together..... Until 1948 when Washington voted Cal into the Rose Bowl. Ever since, lets just say not much love exists between the Ducks and the taildraggers.
