Official Major League Soccer/US Men's National Team Thread

Nope.

Sure we had a young side out there, but Slovenia also started 7 youngsters.

Berhalter does great against small Concacaf countries but never shows up against the rest of the world.

USSF showed they weren’t ready to be brave and serious when they brought him back.

You could almost predict how the game would go before it started. Low energy, no connection between our players, hoof balls, passes into the middle of the box just hoping someone could get a foot on it, passes that were too hard/soft/long/short, etc etc. The same thing we’ve seen from this team over and over and over.

Talking infinite crap and the dooking the bed against Mexico for the first time in forever also contributes.
The USWNT seems like they're facing something of an identity crisis. Carli Lloyd has been saying for years that they got entitled and became more interested in becoming celebrities/developing personal brands after the back-to-back WC wins, and correct if wrong but virtually all the big names from those teams are either retired or way past their prime.

It makes sense that they are entering something of a transition period where they won't be as good.

I didn’t watch anything but the highlights, but it looks like they were unbelievably lucky to get past Jamaica and was little more than pure luck to be gifted an OG with just seconds to play.

Also…why TF was this game at Cowboys Stadium? There might have been 20k people in attendance.

Wow. I was never a big fan of defenders passing back to the keeper. Then when goalie gets cocky and wants to show off his foot skills ... and fails ... suddenly the Columbus Crew is trailing Los Tigres in the first few minutes of the match. SMH.
