I wonder what we can get our nuke count down to after 4 years of Obama? We can't do that much work in that time period, but the agreements can be signed. Do you think that we'll have another START treaty in a few years...or some sort of acceleration agreement....or will the current pace be deemed sufficient? My guess is that we'll see a call for a renewed commitment, but the pace will remain largely the same - simply because the administration will not want to make the capital investment necessary to accelerate dismantlement.

Sounds like the NWO is in full swing these days. Probably sell off all our nukes to the chinese, clinton wouldn't have any problem with it i'm sure.

Your thinking is too conventional, you're thinking of dismantling them. We could always sell them to another country for green credits.

That speech this morning of his, is what drives me nuts about those on his side of things on foriegn policy. Ok Lets take out all our nukes and everyone will follow... er ya right. Even if the more "civilized" countries did it, if they are in bad shape you can't tell me they won't sell the disarmed nukes to the highest bidder (North Korea, Iran, or any organization with not so nice motives). It's not like you just put nukes in a shredder and they are gone forever.

And this may seem simpleton... but we have always done things differently than Europe and we have been the worlds largest Economy comparatively. So why should we emulate theirs and shrink? I dunno he was like "we have so much to learn!" and I just keep thinking that we have always prospered more than them....


And the climate change (cause saying "warming" now just makes you look stupid) crap is such a power grab, and it just boggles me that people don't see that. I mean if you are cool with that, fine, but at least just come clean about it.

Sad thing is, he probably believes that. Like Bin Laden would hesitate for one second about using them on anybody he wanted to.
